Classically, from the perspective of art, performance is to entertain an audience, by presenting a play, through a mellifluous musical concert or by rhythmical and graceful movements of the body that is dance.
Performance, in pertinence to psychology or management, is “the execution of an act/intent successfully” or “putting the knowledge into a specific operation for a particular outcome”.
Sage Patañjali has psychologically pinned down the procedure of ‘performance’ through his yogasūtras. Yogasūtras, valued for its uncanny knack of communicating cognitive procedures of any normal human being, delineates remarkably ‘end to end psychological process of performance’.

Bakery: Limit condiments and bakery foods.
Why : are made of maida(refined flour which has no nutrients but adds calories) & dalda or butter or margarine(which is very harmful for the heart – increases LDL & decreases HDL = clogging of arteries)

YOGA PHILOSOPHY
The yoga sutras of Pantanjali, thought to be as old as 500 BC are traditional guides that outline the principles and practices of yoga philosophy and meditation for self-realization.
Yoga is a journey within, constantly exploring and moving through the various levels of our being. It’s about examining our internal states of consciousness and clearing out the clouded mind, to enable us to manifest the center of our consciousness, “the self” in its true form and to experience highest joy of purity.
The great sage Pantanjali wrote about his thoughts and knowledge of yoga sutras, for his and future generations’ wellbeing and enlightenment.
YOGA AND ITS FOUR PARTS
The four paths of yoga, Jnana Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga, and Raja Yoga, working together like fingers on a hand go by the name of Yoga.
Yoga is the Preexisting Union: Yoga means the realization of the preexisting union of the individual consciousness with the universal consciousness by way of direct experience. There are different ways of expressing this, including that Atman is one with Brahman, Jivatman is one with Paramatman, or Shiva and Shakti are one and the same. Each of these ways of saying it comes from different viewing angles of union or Yoga.
Importance of Ashtanga Yoga
In terms of Ashtanga Yoga, it started back in the 20th century, and it was found that there were a few people who influenced it, including Krishnamacharya, Rama Mohan, Pattabhi jobs, and T.K.U Desikachar. It was Pattabhi who developed the main features of Ashtanga, but it was based on Hatha Yoga Ashtanga goal on benefits is to promote harmony within the individuals, to create a greater view of our own reality.
There are many others benefits of the practice of Ashtanga including increase ment clarity Strength, flexibility, decrease stress and balances body and mind. All these benefit come along with Patanjali`s eight limbs of Ashtanga.

Currently scholars take this as the oldest known yoga scripture.

Neti In Yoga
Neti in yoga is a technique or method of cleansing body air passages in the head. This is an important part of Hindu shatkarma or yogic practice of cleansing body. The Hatha Yoga attributes many benefits to this practice; mainly physiological ones on the body and mind. There are two techniques of the neti in yoga - Jal Neti and Sutra Neti (using string).
Neti yoga for the nasal wash is all about the nostrils, which filter, clean and wash the air you inhale. Yogis indicate breathing through the nose is better than doing so by mouth. The sensitive lining in nostrils is releasing mucus, trapping all dust and unwanted particles when it is moist. This mucus has antibodies protecting from infection or irritation from foreign materials and organisms. All these processes and nasal organization in the human body is an important part of human constitution. An average human being inhales almost 20,000 times in a day. This nasal wash clears and washes away all dirt, dried mucus, while stimulating the nasal linings to secrete fresh, moist mucus, which in turn keeps the nose and nasal processes healthy.

Yoga as in the ancient Hindu texts is clearly indicating various forms and types of yoga.
