Yoga: True meaning
Yoga is a 5000-year-old Indian body of knowledge. Though many think of Yoga only as a physical exercise where people twist, turn, stretch, and breathe in the most complex ways, these are actually only the most superficial aspect of this profound science of unfolding the infinite potentials of the human mind and soul.
One can have plethora of benefits with Yoga. Including Physical Fitness and healing injuries, it deals with mental relaxation as well which none other fitness regimen can provide. It has the power to do wonders with people having sufferings. Among its mental ailments, following two are very powerful in current stressful lifestyle:
1. Yoga: Relieves Stress
With Yoga, we all find ways to deal with stress. Yoga employs a number of relaxation techniques, which with regular practice can make you calmer overall. Along with training your body, yoga trains your mind to see the bigger picture and act from integrity in your life.
2. Yoga: Calms your mind
Pranayama has been developed over thousands of years to calm and tame that endless stream of thoughts. This, he says, leads to greater concentration as you work your way through each pose—and, in most cases, a calmness that lasts the rest of the day.
