Program Features:
The Yoga retreat program will provide you an introduction and practice of the Yoga at beginners level
- At a physical level, you will learn the Asana practices, including the Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), one of the most comprehensive sequence of asanas for overall toning of body and organ health
- At the mental level you will be exposed to Meditation practices that will help you de-stress and relax at will when confronted with difficult situations.
- Breathing techniques (Pranayama) that are vital in bringing about mind-body harmony while filling the body with positive energy.
- Relaxation techniques including Yoga Nidra which self-equip you to induce deep-relaxation
At the end of the retreat, besides being invigorated, you will feel a sense of self-empowerment to manage your life in a positive manner.
Besides the above yoga activities, you can experience recreational activities like watching the wonderful lamp ceremony (aarti) on the banks of the river Ganges, River Rafting on the rapids of the River Ganges or even setting out for a short trek in the nearby Himalayan mountains.
